Link your Discord
Within 24 hours, link a Discord account that is at least 30 days old and a member of the MIGORY Discord. One Discord per Rookie.
Meet your twin and fight
You get a pixel twin of a real MIGORY character, picked at random. Every week, fight your 10 battles and climb the Rookie League.
Ten battles. One egg.
Battles open Sunday at 6 AM and close Friday at 6 AM. Fight your 10 battles any time in between, against randomly selected opponents. Results come out Friday, and the #1 Rookie of the week wins a real Migory Egg.
Each battle is best of 3 rounds. You pick a stance for each round; the stance that wins the matchup gets a 1.5× boost, then your stats and a little luck decide the round.
- Win: 3 points. Loss: 1 point, so showing up always counts.
- Ties go to more wins, then to whoever beat tougher opponents, then to whoever got there first.
- You must fight all 10 battles that week to win the egg.
What is the Migory Rookie League?
It's where people who don't own a MIGORY NFT, or don't know much about NFTs, can join The Arena battles alongside Migory holders.
Rookies get their own league and their own weekly prize, so they compete with each other on equal footing.
Does it cost anything to join?
No, it's absolutely free. There's nothing to buy, and you don't need a crypto wallet to play.
Do I get an NFT when I participate?
No. You get a pixel twin: a pixel-art copy of a real MIGORY character, picked at random and unique to your account. It fights with the same stats as the real character, but it isn't an NFT, can't be sold and can't leave your account.
Spots are limited, and there's one twin per account. When the League is full, you join a waitlist.
What do I need to sign up?
- A username (3–20 letters, numbers or underscores) and a password of at least 10 characters.
- A Discord account that is at least 30 days old, is a member of the MIGORY Discord, and isn't linked to another Rookie account.
- Link Discord within 24 hours of creating your account, or the account is removed. Your spot is only taken once Discord is linked.
What do I do once I join?
Show up any time from Sunday at 6 AM to Friday at 6 AM Pacific Time and fight your twin's 10 battles against randomly selected opponents: other Rookies' twins, or real MIGORY characters as "wild" opponents.
Results are announced Friday. Then a new week starts.
How do I win the Migory Egg?
Every Friday, the #1 Rookie of the week wins a real Migory Egg. It's an NFT. The ranking rewards the most points (3 for a win, 1 for a loss); ties go to more wins, then to whoever beat the toughest opponents.
- You must fight all 10 battles that week to win it.
- One egg per Rookie per season. If the #1 already has one, it goes to the next Rookie.
- It's sent to the wallet you add to your account, and MIGORY pays the fees. A wallet that already holds MIGORY characters can't receive it.
- It hatches after the season only if you keep fighting all 10 battles every week through Week 13.
What are pixel eggs?
In your twin's family egg weeks, a twin that battles earns a pixel egg. Pixel eggs hatch after the season, together with the holders' eggs, into pixel Migoryans. Like your twin, they're never NFTs.
Does the Rookie League affect holders?
No. Rookies play in their own league: holders' rankings, Renown and prizes are never touched. The strongest characters stay exclusive to holders and are never used as twins, and holders can opt any of their characters out of being a twin.
What's the point of this?
To get people into the MigoryVerse without spending any money. Get a taste of the experience, and see if you like it. If you do, your twin's real character might be for sale on Magic Eden.
