We have too many Terrestrials, but that is NOT the real problem. The problem is that we have too many holders looking for exit liquidity with their Terrestrials. They never wanted to be a part of Migory.
But in Migory, problems become features.
And those become opportunities for new people to enter the MigoryVerse, as well as opportunities for those who already love it and are part of it to get a chance at having very special characters.
Migory is an ever-changing, living thing. It’s a universe of its own. It will never get stale. So, to fix this problem, I have to give you some clues without completely spilling the beans:
The Villain characters are coming!
And for Villains to appear, some Terrestrials will have to be sacrificed.
But a simple sacrifice isn’t worth anything if those Terrestrials are just the forgotten ones.
If I had Terrestrials, or an interest in getting one, I would get them now while they’re cheap and forgotten.
AND THEN I would take them to every single weekly battle in The Arena. Because a Terrestrial without Renown will not be a worthy sacrifice.
I’ll be giving you more information in 4 to 5 weeks. But don’t tell me I didn’t give you an early warning about this.
The MigoryVerse continues to expand while contracting.
When we started the project, I told you all I wanted to create a coloring book for the family.
Today, I want you to check out Migory Secret Garden, our first-edition coloring book for you to share with your family.
This book has two goals:
Give you a reason to step away from the computer and spend time with your family without any screens—or enjoy some quiet time coloring and relaxing on your own. I feel that our minds and souls do much better when we’re present in the moment, and coloring is one of my favorite ways to do that.
Expand the Migory IP beyond NFTs. This is our first step toward reaching a broader audience. I’ll be sharing these books with my audience, and they’re completely free!
Migory is much more than just NFTs, and I’m glad we’re able to take these steps with a community we can serve in a positive and purposeful way, alongside our beloved characters!
If you open a character profile on The Arena’s website, you’ll notice a few additions. The MOST IMPORTANT one is the RENOWN section.
WHAT EXACTLY IS IT?
Renown is the total of all the points your Migory character earns on the battlefield. These points are currently stored in The Arena. At the end of Season One—the game you’re playing right now—they will go on-chain with your character.
DOES RENOWN COUNT FOR ANYTHING?
Yes! Renown is your character’s history of activity. The more you build it, the better your chances of advancing into the next phases.
WHAT IF I BOUGHT A CHARACTER THAT HAS ZERO RENOWN POINTS?
It depends on when you buy that character, but in most cases you’ll still be able to build its Renown, even if you’re late to the party.
Where low or zero Renown could have an impact is the price. A seller may have to accept a lower price if buyers prefer characters with higher Renown to unlock future features in the project’s timeline. That’s the “penalty” I mean—not an actual fee or penalty imposed by the project.
SO WHAT SHOULD I DO TO KEEP INCREASING THE VALUE OF MY MIGORY COLLECTIBLE!?
Keep sending it into battle! For now, that’s the only way to keep increasing its Renown each week. If your character doesn’t fight, it won’t earn any points.
Also, if you send your character into battle and then transfer it to another wallet or list it on a marketplace, the Renown points earned that week will disappear.
WHEN WILL RENOWN GO ON-CHAIN?
As soon as Season One ends, after the initial 13 weeks. For now, we’re keeping all those points in our Migory database, so don’t let them pass you by!
I don’t want to overcomplicate things, so I want to explain to you what The Arena is, and WHY I built it.
WHAT IS THE ARENA’S PURPOSE?
For current MIGORY HOLDERS to be able to mint the new characters: “The Migoryans”.
For current holders to be able to win prizes every week, like Migory Singularity NFTs (most of you know them as “Gods”), and other incredible characters.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Simply put: think of it like “mission staking”!
You send your characters on a “mission” that lasts a week, and at the end you see if you got a prize.
The cool part is you don’t need to lock your characters while staking them. They stay in your wallet. HOWEVER (and this is very important), if you move your NFTs to another wallet or list them on a marketplace for sale, your character won’t earn points that week at all.
For 13 weeks, every Saturday, you are going to go to The Arena and “send your characters to battle”.
Once the Battle Window opens, you are going to have to fight your characters against randomly selected opponents.
These battles are the ones that are going to keep your eggs “warm” in order for them to hatch. If you don’t do it, you’ll have fewer chances to pull a new Migoryan.
WHAT’S THE BATTLE SCHEDULE?
All times below are Pacific Time (Los Angeles).
1. Sending your characters window: It opens at 6 a.m. on Saturday and closes at 6 a.m. on Sunday.
Think about it like ENLISTING YOUR SQUAD FOR BATTLE.
This is the time, if you want to sell your NFT or move it to another wallet, that you can. Once the window closes, you can’t get benefits or participate in that week’s prizes/rewards.
2. The Battle Window: Opens at 6 a.m. on Sunday and closes on Friday at 6 a.m.
This is when you are going to have your characters actively battle others!
If you don’t do this, your eggs won’t stay warm and your chances at hatching a new Migoryan are going to be lower.
Also, you won’t be able to earn points in order to win the weekly prize we have for the top fighter of the week.
It’s a five-day window, so NO excuses!
3. Results Window: Opens on Fridays at 6 a.m. and closes on Saturdays at 6 a.m.
This is 24 hours to check how your fighters performed and how they did against the rest on our leaderboards.
This is also when Migory Eggs are given out, alongside the Prize of the Week Egg.
After this is done, you’ll have 24 hours to trade your NFTs if you wish to do so, before next week’s action.
WHAT IS THE FIRST WEEKLY PRIZE!?
It’s a SINGULARITY Character, so our winner can use it to boost one of their other characters and earn extra eggs with higher chances at hatching a Mythic Migoryan.
WHAT ABOUT THE AWAKENED?!
If you guys checked out all the Terrestrials, you’ll see there’s a character called THE AWAKENED.
He is more powerful than all Terrestrials, and a big part of the story here. He is a prize in one of those weekly tournaments for the winner. So don’t miss a single week!
ARE THERE MORE SINGULARITY CHARACTERS BEING GIVEN OUT!?
Yes, there are more. But the rest of the prizes are a secret!
I am making this post now, before the Terrestrial's mint closes because it's very important you all stay alert and follow this blog in order to NOT MISS THE OPPORTUNITY to get your egg(s)!
As soon as the Terrestrial's mint closes, it'll take me about 5 full days to create all the art, and to reveal your new characters.
As soon as those 5 days are over we are going to take our Migory Characters to 'The Arena' and they're going to fight in order to mint their Migory Eggs.
These Migory Eggs will be the way for you to mint your MIGORYAN, which is the final character of season 1.
This will be done through a game, and if you don't participate from the start and play all the 13 weeks it's going to last, you are going to miss out on the chance of hatching your egg.
All the rules and conditions are already on 'The Arena Platform'. This is live, fully tested, and ready to go. Once that is live you can see the way it works.
When it goes live I'll also make a video showing you how it works, and what to expect.
Now that the Fun Guys were born, we get into the heavy hitters: The Plastiks!
It's no coincidence these guys look like our top tier characters in the MigoryVerse, and they are the most limited character in the entire MigoryVerse. Only a maximum of 123 Plastiks will be born, but I'm calculating the number will land around 70 (just an estimate).
The Fun Guys are very limited in numbers too. Only 112 Fun Guys were minted. I don't want to spoil what the Fun Guys are or will do, but you want them on your team. They will help you get to your goal faster! ‘What goal?’ you might ask... well, I won't tell you until the product is out.
For now, we'll see how many Plastiks are minted. I'll create the art (again... yes, it's my third time doing it) based on those numbers so that each one of these is a very special character you mint.
Enjoy the mint process! You have until October 8th at noon Pacific to claim yours. After that, there is nothing I can do for you.
After the Plastiks → The Agents are next. They will be minted with the Rebellion Bots. And this is where I'll pilot the ‘keep my traits’ mechanism (it's already built).
Today, September 30, is your last chance to CLAIM your God if you have one from the old Golem, Demon, Robot, or Chest collections. Claims close at midnight tonight: October 1 at 12:00 a.m. PDT, Los Angeles time.
After that, I’m going to sell 1 or 2 of the unclaimed characters to fund what the project needs—mainly art, because all art starts with a human hand—as well as the AI development costs.
The remaining unclaimed characters will be available for all MIGORY holders to MINT when the MIGORYANS mint is released.
The Fun Guys MINT ends tomorrow at midnight!
The Fun Guys mint closes tomorrow night, October 1, at midnight: October 2 at 12:00 a.m. PDT, Los Angeles time.
As soon as it ends, I’m going to try to reveal the art as quickly as possible through the coins you’ve already minted. They’re already in your wallet—you don’t have to do anything else. Each coin’s image and individual metadata will update to reveal your Fun Guy.
I want to do this quickly so I can test the reveal and fix any problems that come up. I originally gave myself a week after the mint ended to reveal the art. If it happens right away, this is why!
The Plastiks are next!
The Plastiks MINT will open right after the Fun Guys mint closes—no more than 24 hours later—and will last only 5 days. There are around 120 unique pieces, and I estimate that about 80 will be minted at most. That’s an estimate, not a confirmed final count.
After the Plastiks, here’s the order:
Robots, now known as Agents: a 7-day mint.
Demons, now known as Infernals: a 7-day mint.
Golems, now known as Terrestrials: a 7-day mint.
What should I do with my Demon or Golem?
JUST KEEP IT IN YOUR WALLET UNTIL MINT DAY. It will be the key to claiming your new Migory character.
And if you’re having problems unstaking from the Rude platform: a solution is being worked on. Don’t stress or panic!
The time has come: it’s time to MINT your FUN GUY!
WHO CAN MINT A FUN GUY?
Only holders of an eligible, unused METAVERSE PORTAL GUN can mint a Fun Guy. One Portal Gun unlocks one Fun Guy.
The mint is FREE. There is no mint payment to MIGORY; you only pay Solana network fees and account rent. We DO NOT take your Portal Gun NFT away. You keep it.
IMPORTANT: each Portal Gun can be used ONCE. After you mint, that Portal Gun is marked USED and can no longer claim another Fun Guy—even if it changes wallets or is resold.
DO NOT buy a Portal Gun on a marketplace expecting it to unlock a Fun Guy. It may already have been used, and buying it will NOT reset its claim. Check eligibility on the mint page.
WHY ARE WE MINTING A FUN GUY COIN IMAGE?
This mint gives you access to the new MIGORY collection. The coin IS your NFT—it simply hasn’t been revealed yet!
One week after the mint ends, your NFT’s image and metadata will be updated to reveal your own character. You keep the same NFT; the coin artwork becomes your Fun Guy.
CAN I TRADE THE COIN BEFORE THE REVEAL?
Yes! After the mint ends, there will be about a week before the reveal to trade your unrevealed Fun Guy on our current collection marketplace, Degen Market.
WHAT IS THE FUN GUYS’ FUNCTION IN MIGORY?
Fun Guys are helpers in the story. As NFTs, they’ll be BOOSTERS. I’ll explain what they boost once the entire collection has been minted.
A lot of you have been wondering what you’ll receive when you enter the MigoryVerse through your Demons and Golems. Here’s a first look at the new artwork and names: Golems become Terrestrials, and Demons become Infernals.
Two important things to know
You DO NOT have to burn or send your old Golem or Demon. You keep it.
Traits WILL NOT MATCH your old character by default. The artwork above is a preview, not a promise that your traits will carry over.
How will it work?
You’ll be able to claim a new character through this website only if you hold an eligible old character in your wallet. I’ll explain the full mechanics before claims open.
If you have 3 eligible Golems and complete the claim process, you’ll receive 3 Terrestrials.
If you have 1 eligible Demon and complete the claim process, you’ll receive 1 Infernal.
This WILL NOT be an airdrop. You’ll need to actively claim your characters, so stay tuned to this blog and updates from me, Alejandro, on X or YouTube.
If you’re unhappy that the same traits won’t carry over, remember that participation is entirely optional. Your original NFTs remain yours.
A possible trait-preservation option — NOT CONFIRMED
I’m considering an optional trait-preservation program where a holder could pay 0.1 SOL to keep equivalent traits in the new collection. This is only an idea: the program, price, and availability are not confirmed. Recreating those traits would mean a lot of additional work, which is why I’m considering a fee. I’ll keep thinking about it as I continue minting MIGORY.
The lore will change, too. These are reimagined characters in a new universe, with new stories and identities. Think of this as a new chapter.
I’m doing my best to keep this fun and interesting for everyone. I have your best interests at heart, even though I know I can’t please everyone.
When will you be able to mint these?
Here’s the planned order:
Gods and Chests from the old collections are the current phase, with the claim window ending October 1.
PLASTIKS — for holders of the old Droids collection.
FUN GUYS — for holders of Metaverse Portal Guns.
AGENTS — for holders of Rebellion Bots.
INFERNALS — for holders of Demons.
TERRESTRIALS — for holders of Golems.
How many of each will be minted?
I’m not recreating the entire supply of the old collections. The claim examples above are one new character per eligible old character, but only for holders who actively participate. With inactive wallets and people who have left the NFT space, I expect the final numbers to be much smaller.
Based on the response so far, my estimate is that about 30% of the original supply will result in Migorians. That is only an estimate, not a confirmed supply or a cap.
I’m working on a way for holders to register their claims in advance so I know how many characters to design. The artwork is rendered with AI rather than assembled from a layered PSD, and producing it takes time. I’ll try to introduce this process starting with the Fun Guys, but the mechanics are still being worked out.
As you all know, we’re currently minting the rare Plastiks—the Gods from the old collections.
I’ve noticed that a lot of people still don’t fully understand what’s happening, so I wanted to share a simple chart showing what your current NFT from my old collections will correspond to in the Migoryverse.
I’m taking this one step at a time and looking for ACTIVE USERS ONLY. For example, if you currently hold a God or a Chest and don’t actively contact me on X with your wallet address during the claim period, I’ll have to move on. Your opportunity to join MIGORY through that claim will be gone.
I am NOT asking you to trade in or burn your old NFTs. You keep them. I’m simply looking for active interest and participation.
I haven’t decided what will happen to the MIGORY NFTs that go unclaimed. For now, I’m considering giving participants in the larger mints a chance to receive them at random, but I may also burn the unclaimed MIGORY NFTs. Nothing is final yet—I just want to be transparent.
Thank you to everyone participating in this new adventure, and good luck!
Degen Market Inc, associated with Degenerate Ape Academy, has officially listed our collection!
As we continue minting the collection, you’ll be able to buy and sell your MIGORY NFTs there, just like on other popular marketplaces.
For now, I’m waiting on Magic Eden to get their shit together. I haven’t been able to submit our new collection there—talk about the bottom of the NFT market.
I’ve also submitted the collection to Tensor, but I’m still waiting to hear whether our request has been approved or denied.
While we mint the rest of the characters, marketplace access is a big priority for me. Degen Market Inc is where I’ll be putting my energy so we can keep moving forward with MIGORY.
I’ve listed one item to demonstrate that the collection is there, rather than to encourage a purchase. Please don’t buy that demonstration listing.
Go check it out! And if you have an NFT collection, reach out to them. In my experience, they’ve been the most responsive NFT marketplace so far.
